By accessing or using WithoutX, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access our service.

2. Description of Service

WithoutX is a habit-tracking application that helps users break bad habits and build better ones through social accountability, gamification, and community features. We provide tools for tracking challenges, earning achievements, connecting with friends, and joining teams.

3. User Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must:

Provide accurate and complete information
Maintain the security of your account credentials
Immediately notify us of any unauthorized use
Be at least 13 years old to use our service

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the service for any unlawful purpose
Harass, abuse, or harm other users
Post content that is offensive, hateful, or discriminatory
Spam or post misleading content
Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
Use automated systems to access the service without permission
Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers

5. User Content

You retain ownership of content you create on WithoutX. By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with our service.

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms or is otherwise objectionable, at our sole discretion.

6. Image Uploads

Apex subscribers may upload images (check-in photos) to document their journey. By uploading images, you agree to:

Only upload images you have the right to share
Not upload NSFW, explicit, violent, or illegal content
Not upload images containing personal information of others without consent
Accept that images are automatically scanned for inappropriate content
Accept that flagged images may be rejected or removed without notice

Repeated violations of image upload policies may result in loss of upload privileges or account termination.

7. Intellectual Property

The WithoutX service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by WithoutX and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. WithoutX is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or addiction treatment services.

10. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall WithoutX, its directors, employees, partners, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the service.

11. Discord Bot Usage

If you use the WithoutX Discord bot, you agree to:

Use the bot commands as intended for habit tracking purposes
Not attempt to spam, abuse, or overload the bot with automated requests
Not use the bot to harass other users or violate Discord’s Terms of Service
Accept that bot functionality may be modified or discontinued at any time

The bot is provided as a convenience feature. We are not responsible for any issues arising from Discord platform changes or outages.

12. Browser Extension Usage

If you use the WithoutX browser extension, you agree to:

Use the extension for personal habit tracking and website blocking purposes only
Not modify, reverse engineer, or redistribute the extension code
Not use the extension to circumvent security measures on websites
Accept that extension functionality may change with browser updates

The website blocking feature is provided as a self-help tool. We cannot guarantee it will prevent all access to blocked sites, as users can disable or uninstall the extension at any time.

The extension is provided “as is” and we are not liable for any issues arising from browser compatibility, updates, or conflicts with other extensions.

13. Refund Policy

Our refund policy for WithoutX Apex subscriptions is as follows:

Cancel Anytime: You may cancel your subscription at any time. You will continue to have access to Apex features until the end of your current billing period.
No Partial Refunds: We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods. Once cancelled, you retain access until your billing period ends.
Renewals: Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled. Refund requests for renewals must be made within 48 hours of the charge.
Virtual Items: Cosmetics and virtual items purchased with in-app points are non-refundable.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms of Service on this page. Your continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
